married Thakurani Krishna Kumari, daughter of Thakur Kesri Singhji of Jojawar, and his wife, Thakurani Laxman Kanwar, and has issue, one son and one daughter. PREDECESSORS AND SHORT HISTORY: Traditionally, the ancestor of the family was Raja Bir Chand, Raja Saheb of Ajudhia. The state was founded before 1600. It was overrun by the Gurkhas of Nepal from to 1815. In that year they were expelled, and a sanad was issued to the Thakur Saheb confirming him in possession of Mahilog on 4th September 1815.
