PREDECESSORS AND SHORT HISTORY:The state has been held by the Babi family since 1693, when Jafar Khan obtained Radhanpur, Sami, Munjpur and Tervada with the title of Safdar Khan, though political relations with Radhanpur date from 6th July 1820, when an agreement was signed under the terms of which the Nawab was bound to pay a yearly tribute to the British. He died 4th December 1936 (#2) and was succeeded by a cousin.

HH Nawab Sahib MURTAZA KHAN JORAWAR KHAN Bahadur Babi, 10th Nawab of Radhanpur 1936/- , born 10th October 1899, educated at Radhanpur High School and Rajkumar College, Rajkot; Member of the Chamber of Princes, married 1929, HH Nawab Begam Saheba Manovvar Bhakte Saheba, daughter of HH Sir Nawab Muhammad Jalaluddin Khan (above), and had issue.
    • Nawabzadi Bima Saheb Noorjahan Bhakhte, married Suba Nadey Ali Khanji, died 2005.
