PREDECESSORS AND SHORT HISTORY: The thikana of Sirsi (now known as Sarsi) is located in the present day Malwa area of Madhya Pradesh and was founded by Thakur Amar Singhji, son of Thakur Fateh Singh, a younger brother of Maharaja Ratan Singhji, founder of Ratlam State and a descendant of Raja Udai Singh of Marwar.
