  • Raja BRAJRAJ BIRABARA KSHATRIYA CHAMUPATI SINGH Mahapatra, Raja Saheb of Tigiria 1943/2015, born 15th October 1921, educated at Rajkumar College, Rajpur (Diploma, 1940); the last remaining former Ruler in Orissa, who signed the merger agreement with the Government of India, he was a Life Member of the Governing Council of Rajkumar College in Raipur, he was a keen shikari and has written a number of short stories about his hunting exploits and experiences; married Rani Rasmanjari Devi, born 19th November 1927, daughter of Shri Jashwant Singh Deo of Sonepur, she is a former member of the Orissa Legislative Assembly (contested elections in 1967, 1971 and 1974); Chairman, Tigiria Panchayat Samiti 1971 to 1974; and has issue, three sons and three daughters. He died 30th November 2015.
