The villages of Dhikai along with
Cherai and Mathania,
were granted to Thakur Bhom Singh, son of Rao Bahadur Jai
Singhji of Osian, later the
village of Dhikai was
Umaid Nagar, after the marriage of the sister of the
Thakur Saheb to HH
Singhji of Jodhpur. Estate holders
- Thakur BHOM SINGH,
Thakur of Umaidnagar -/1943, he married Thakurani Maad
(Bera), daughter of
Thakur Kishore Singhji
Ranawat, and had issue, five
children. He died 1943.
- Baiji Lal Mahendra Kumari, married Sardar
Shambhaji Rao Angre of Gwalior (Kolaba).
- Raja Bhupat Singh (qv)
- Thakur Raju Singhji, married Thakurani Usha Kumari
Katkone, and had issue.
- Thakur Veer Vijay Singh, married Thakurani
Thakur Sahib Mahendra Singh of Ghanerao,
and his wife, Thakurani Pratap
Kanwar, and has issue three children, two
daughters and one son.

of Shivrati], married 21st November

married Air Vice Marshal Thakur
Singhji A.V.S.M., P.V.S.M. of Bagawas, and has
- Kunwarani Namrata Kumari, married 1st May
in Ajmer, Kunwar (now Rawat) Veerbhadra Singh of
born 3rd July 1959 in Ajmer, Rajasthan;
formerly a Planter, presently (2009) a hotelier;
and has issue, one son
and one daughter.
- Raja BHUPAT SINGH
B.A., Raja of Umaidnagar 1943/-, born 1925, educated
Brown’s School in Dehra Dun and at Mayo College,
Ajmer, graduating with
a Bachelor's Degree; in sports he excelled in weight
lifting and Polo;
he was President of Hanuwant Educational
of Jodhpur Cycle Association, Vice President Chopasni
Vice President of Rajasthan Kennel Club, Addl.
Secretary of the Madras
Club, his vast experience with horses and horse
breeding saw him
appointed as Special Advisor, Committee Indigenous
Breeds’ Ministry of
Agriculture, a Member of the Equine Development Board,
Agriculture, and Working President of Indigenous Horse
India, Ministry of Agriculture, Honorary President of
Marwari Horse Society, Germany, he was Founder Member
of the Jodhpur
Equestrian Institute and President of the Marwari
Association, Jodhpur; he married Rani Roop Kanwar,
daughter of Thakur
Anop Singhji Saheb of Balunda,
his fourth wife, Thakurani Khama Khanwar, and
