  • Kgosi TSHOSA, Paramount Chief of the baNgwaketse (Line II) 1817/1823, married Mojankunyana Marumulwa (married Kgosi Tawana of the baRolong) and had issue. He died 1823.

  • Kgosikgolo BATHOEN I, Paramount Chief of the baNgwaketse 1889/1910, born 1845 in Tswaneng, married (amongst others), Kgosigadi Gagoangwe Sechele [later Mohamagadi Gagoangwe], daughter of Kgosikgolo Sechele I of the baKwena, and his wife, Kgosikadi Mokgokong Kgari, and had issue. He died 1st July 1910 in Kanye.

  • Kgosigadi Gagoangwe Sechele, Acting Chiefss of the baNgwaketse 1923/1924, born 1848, died 1924 of cancer.
  • Kgosigadi Ntebogang Gaseitsiwe, Acting Chiefess of the baNgwaketse 1924/1928, born 1882, during her reign many projects, such as the building of schools, dams and medical establishments were carried out successfully. As a convert to the Seventh-day Adventist Church and to the benefit of the people, she allowed the church to establish a hospital (the first in the country) and a number of clinics in the chiefdom. Outside her chiefdom she was influential in other ways too. She was appointed as the first woman to sit in the Native Advisory Council and was, according to records, one of its outspoken members. She died 1975.

  • Kgosi MOOKAMI GASEITSIWE, Acting Chief of the baNgwaketse 1973/1978, married and had issue. He died in October 1978.

      • Kwenantle Mookami Gaseitsiwe, born 1965, educated at primary school in Gaborone, at Kgari Sechele School, Molepolole and at Peka High School, Lesotho; he is currently a media practitioner and is the publisher of Farmers Magazine Botswana. After Lesotho in 1984 he joined News Company Botswana who are publishers of the Gazette newspaper and the former Business Magazine. He left to join Sadc Press Trust as Business Development Manager for Botswana (SADC member state) who were publishers of Southern African Economist under the stewardship of Dominic Molaisho and Al Osman ( Editor and Deputy Editor respectively). He left to join Martex Group based at Nashua which specialized in Office Automation until he left to start Paper Club (a stationery company), he ran it until 1998 when he disinvested in the company to start Thapiso Holdings (an agricultural business) being the first Motswana to introduce guinea fowl breeding in Botswana. He is still running the company which has now introduced poultry, small stock and cattle. He started Numen Publishing in 2005 (publishers of Farmers Magazine and the Online Edition. His academic training includes Tack International in South Africa in Marketing and Sales, Institute of Development Management in Sales Management and Executive Development with PREFCOR (RSA). He has attended local, regional and international conferences such as the ACP in Malawi, the European Development Day in Brussels and conferences in South Africa; married and has issue, three daughters.
  • Kgosi SEATLA GASEITSIWE, Acting Chief of the baNgwaketse 2000/2003, Member, House of Chiefs, Botswana, died 21st April 2003 at the Gaborone Private Hospital.

  • His Excellency Kgosikgolo SEEPAPITSO IV, Paramount Chief of the baNgwaketse 1969/1973 and -/2010, born 17th October 1933, educated at Moeng College, Botswana 1956/1957 and earned a diploma in administration from the South Devon Technical College in the United Kingdom in 1960. Worked as a district officer in Botswana in 1960, advancing through the ranks to play key roles on the Land Board and in the administration of the Bangwaketse Tribe, becoming paramount chief of the tribe in 1969, a position that he continues to hold today. Served as a member on the Citizenship Committee 1982/1997, the Vision 2016 Task Force 1995 and chairman of the Sports Commission 1998. Ambassador of Botswana to the United States 2000/2002, Ambassador of Botswana to China 2002/2004, also represented the diplomatic interests of Botswana to Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Chile, and Trinidad and Tobago, Chairperson of the House of Chiefs 1970/1973, 1977/1989, 1991/1993, 1996/1998 and 2005/-, married 1stly, (div.) Mohumagadi Retse Gaseitsewe (née Moelestsi), born 7th June 1940, died 24th March 2010 at the Princess Marina Hospital, married 2ndly, Mohumagadi Neo Gaseitsewe (née Mokgwetsi), daughter of Kgosi Nakedi Nelson Mokgwetsi, and his wife, Kelebogile Matlapeng, and had issue, three sons and one daughter. He died 24th March 2010 at the Princess Marina Hospital.
    • Kgosi Leema Seepapitso Gaseitsiwe (by Mohumagadi Retse), overlooked in the succession due to poor health after a car accident in 1999.
