allegedly a grandson of Tlatoani Moctezuma I of Tenochtitlan. Rulers

- Tlatoani CHIMALPILLI I,
1st Tlatoani of Ecatepec 1428/1465, born about 1427, he was installed
as tlatoani while still an infant, married and had issue. He died
1465.

[Matlaccohuatl], 3rd Tlatoani of Ecatepec, married and had issue.

Tlatoani Moctezuma II, Tlatoani of Tenochtitlan,
and had issue.
- Dona Francisca de Moctezuma, married Don Diego
de Alvarado Huantzin, Tlatoani of Tenochtitlan, and had issue (see
below).
- Princess Tlacuilolxochtzin, married Prince Tezozomoc
Acolnahuacatl of Tenochtitlan, and had issue.

4th Tlatoani of Ecatepec 1498/1520, son of Tlatoani Ahuizotl, Tlatoani
of Tenochtitlan, and his wife from
Ecatepec.
- Don Diego de Alvarado
Huantzin, Tlatoani of Tenochtitlan
1536/1542 or 1539/1541 and 5th Tlatoani of Ecatepec 1520/1539, 1st
Governor of San Juan Tenochtitlan 1539/1541, married (his cousin),
Doña
Francisca de Moctezuma, daughter of Tlatoani Moctezuma II, Tlatoani of
Tenochtitlan, and his wife, Queen Tlapalizquixochtzin, and
had issue. He died after 1542.
- Don Diego Quauhpotonqui,
Tlatoani of Ecatepec, married (amongst others), Doña
María Tlacoyehuatzin, daughter of Don Diego de San Francisco
Tehetzquititzin, Tlatoani of Tenochtitlan, and had issue.
- Don Cristóbal, married Doña Cecilia,
youngest daughter of Don Diego de San Francisco Tehetzquititzin,
Tlatoani of Tenochtitlan.
