-“The Sharp Shooter”, Sylvia Kelso’s latest short fiction, is set in the shared world of New Ceres, where the 18th Century has stretched into the Space Age. Appearing in the New Ceres Nights anthology, now out from Twelfth Planet, available online in hardcover and e-copies.

A collection of Sylvia Kelso’s essays, entitled Three Observations and a Dialogue Round and About SF, will be released by Aqueduct Press in May 2009.
Sylvia lives in North Queensland, Australia, and writes fiction as well as academic articles. These pieces were given as papers at conferences or conventions and/or published in academic journals over the past 20 years.
