AntiVirus.

A reliable form of AntiVirus is a must have in this day and age !!
There are many packages and programs available to choose from.  Solutions range from small freeware products to expensive corporate packages.   Nortons is one of the larger well known packages, while a perfectly good free solution is AVG.  Once a product is selected it must be updated with definition files that contain signatures and information to tell your virus engine what to look out for.  Once a week is generally adequate to update or check for new definitions, though many people do it several times a day.
