| The process involves finding the right shaped bamboo stalk, cutting and transporting it to the site, decorating it with coconut leaves, fruit, baskets etc in an individual style, while following the village regulations for number of coconuts and other things, digging a hole and sticking the penjor in it for ten days, whereafter it is usually removed on the day after Kuningan (Manis Kuningan). |
