 Gtube FOM : How to use this Faq-O-Matic :
Obtaining your login and password |

The first time you want to contribute to the Faq-O-Matic, you nominate your email address and a password. FOM then sends an email to your address ... "to make sure you are who you say you are". Below are the instructions for how to do this. Thereafter, all you need to do is supply your email address and password.
The items below are all screen captures ... so what you might do is print off this page to follow the instructions. Or perhaps you can start a new browser window (MIE File>New>Window or Netscape File>New>NavigatorWindow)and jump back and forth between the two.

Step 1 is to get FOM to ask you for your password. In this case, I selected the link [Add a new answer in "Obtain your login and password"]

Step 2 is to select the link [Create a new login].

Step 3 is to offer your email address and make up a password.

Step 4 is to either collect your "secret" from the FOM email sent to you and paste it into the field below, or to just click on the link provided in the email. In this example, I skip the secret and just click on the link in the email (see Step 5).

Step 5 is to open my email and click on the rather long link (in blue). This saved me copying and pasting the "secret" into by web browser.

Step 6 - You've finished! You now see the screen below. You can add an item where you are, or just click on your Back button a few times 
... once you have pressed the Subit Changes button you are presented with a large text box into which you can type your information to go on the web site.
