After making the initial web page, I needed help in identifying some of the people in the photos. I phoned a few old schoolies and they were only too pleased to help. They provided more photos and items of interest. Another enjoyable (mini) school reunion followed. Many thanks to Rod York, Leonie Ferguson, Robert Vrakking, Susan Campbell (and partner Stewart), Rod Rainer, Gail Dinsdale. Also thanks to Debbie Barron and Phil Welstead for contibuting photos and items of interest. Apologies from Dianne Mulvay and Phillipa Stacey who couldn't make it on the night.

Debbie Barron's Athletics

Remember the Faction and Interschool Athletics Carnivals? Most of us had mixed success at the various events, but some did very well. It will probably embarrass Debbie for me to say this but she was a bit of a legend at Primary Athletics. Here are some products of her achievement.

Excursion to the ABC
In year seven we went on an excursion (I think it was THE only excuesion we went on) to the ABC thanks to Paul Gutman and his father who worked there. Years later this picture turned up in the TV Extra magazine!

Mr Compton

Like him or otherwise, everyone remembers him. For many of us, he was our Grade Six teacher and\or coach. He was tragically killed in an aircraft crash in the seventies. This wall plate in his honour can be found at Karratha Primary School. Graeme Penny is the Deputy Principal there now!
