Nothing looks, goes and sounds like a Cobra….

First established in 1994, the Cobra Car Club of WA fired up to form an organisation where members and enthusiasts together, could support and promote the Shelby Cobra Legend.  To compliment this, the club provides a forum for like minded people to get together and discuss their cars in great depth, always willing to assist fellow builders complete their projects.

Over a decade has now passed, and the club has grown to include approximately fifty to sixty members, over 30 registered Cobras and has developed a family friendly club structure that generally caters for people with a passion for the Cobra.

WHAT DOES THE CLUB DO?
Apart from turn a lot of heads on our Cobra runs, the aim of the club is to provide a regular meeting point for our members to discuss Cobra trivia such as building specifications and sources, driving and registration related topics.  Whether you are building or buying a pre-loved Cobra, there are important decisions to be made which may include information about manufacturing, costs, registration requirements and insurance.  Most members are experienced Cobra owners and are able to provide practical solutions to pretty much any question that’s raised.

And the fun part - the club organises social events for members and guests such as:

·    Weekenders away;
·    Bush breakfasts;
·    Lunches and BBQ’s;
·    Shed runs;
·    Kart nights;
·    Cobra Club runs; and
·
Anything else that involves plenty of laughs, good wine, good friends and the roaring sound of a Cobra or 20!!

WHEN DOES THE CLUB MEET?
Club meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month (from 7.30pm) at:

the Veteran Car Club of WA
Corner Hale Road & Tonkin Highway
FORRESTFIELD

Weather permitting, the club organises a Cobra run for everybody (tin tops included) on the second weekend of each month.

Sometimes in the morning - sometimes in the evening – but always cruzin’ with a group of 8-10 Cobra’s is certainly a buzz.
