The financial year for the Sportsmens Club runs from 1st of April to 31st March. Summer sports, eg. Tennis and Cricket have a financial year from 1st September to 31st August to better reflect the summer season and payment streams. The membership fee is split into two parts. There is a basic fee to join the main Sportsmens Club as well as a separate sports levy to join the various sporting divisions. Social membership requires the payment of the basic fee only. Other costs may be levied by the Sporting divisions, eg. a pennant fee for tennis or a playing fee for bowls, etc. The fees for 2000 / 2001
inclusive of GST are $75.00 for basic membership
and $25 per year for Social members only Sporting levies vary greatly
depending on the sport, level of competition and age group. Follow the
individual sporting division links for information on their sporting levies
Additional fees are also
due for certain sports, eg. Pennant fees for tennis, ball fees for football,
game fees for darts, etc. NOTE: Cricket is financially
autonomous from the Sportsmens Club. All cricket members pay the basic
membership fee plus a playing fee set separately by the cricket division. |
