The people of Western Australia are blessed with fantastic weather, thousands of miles of open road and no speed limits. Well two out of three aint bad. Some of us are lucky to have cool rides in which to take advantage of this situation. More fortunate than most is Mumbo Member Shaun who is the proud owner of this fully restored Corvette.
Shaun's Vette has been lovingly restored with custom burgundy and red pearl paint being applied over those famous coke bottle curves. The interior complete with leather bucket seats was restored to original from parts sourced from the USA. Up front the 350 Chev has been mildly massaged to produce 350 horses at the rear wheels and a T350 automatic gearbox complete with a stage 2 shift kit and 2500 rpm stall converter helps get the Vette off the line in a tidy manner.
If you're lucky enough to see Shaun's Vette out on the road on one of its monthly outings, take a closer look at the work that has gone into restoring this classic machine but you would be wise to think twice before lining up against this car at the lights.
