London needs Crossrail, but the version of Crossrail that is currently being built is poor value for money. The BetterCrossrail plan is for a version of Crossrail Line 1 that is both cheaper and more effective.

But the plan doesn't stop there! It shows how London can continue to build new railways, at the best possible value for money.
