Special "Blacklight" Fluorescent tubes attract night flying insect pests to the
interior of the unit. As the insect pests approach the light they have to pass
through a barrier of high voltage electric grids, as soon as insects touch the grids
or even come close they are zapped by high voltage.
The unit creates a feeding place for the local birds as electrocuted insects drop
through the mesh bottom of the unit to the ground below.
Protective mesh surrounds the unit to protect humans, animals and birds
from accidental contact. The Jumbo is non-polluting. No chemicals are used.
It is environmentally friendly because once the target insects have been
eliminated the unit can be switched off without any residual effect.
The effect of chemicals on the other hand continues for an extended period
and cannot be switched off.
The Jumbo is supplied crated, palletised for easy transport.
