Magazines
Large newsagents stock magazines that cover
many topics on Ufology and Contact phenomena and most will list resources
for those with experiences. These magazines will sometimes be seen in
the science section or alternative / new age sections. These magazines
list Ufology /Contact organizations for you to resource. For example,
such magazines as
UFO Magazine
(UK) (Tel: 0113 270 2066)
The Australasian
Ufologist (Australia) (Tel: 07 3808 8567) - Editors: Diane Harrison &
Robert Friola
Just ask
your newsagent what is available.
Alternative
/ New Age magazines
You can get further insight about this phenomenon through some
of the more alternative healing and spiritual magazines, they will often
cover the more paranormal aspects to this experience and channelled explanations.
Newspapers
National and local newspapers are also another resource. Sightings
of UFO's are news. Often the newspaper will include resources.
National and local Radio If you enjoy listening to the radio you
may find this will give you information. Researchers, therapists, and
‘experiencers’ will use the radio to go public.
I have often been asked to do radio interviews, and find it is a valuable
way of advertising the support available, as well as generally raising
awareness in the community. This has provided some unusual synchronisities
for helping those with experiencers. For example: I was doing an interview
on a local radio show, when a lady phoned to the radio station and told
me that her son had just been woken up by his clock radio, which was ‘coincidentally’
tuned to the radio channel at the precise time I was talking about my
work with experiencers. He listened and then called out to his mother
to listen. He disclosed to her that he had been having Contact experiences
since he was three years old. Synchronicity, co-incidence? Certainly the
Universe acts beautifully sometimes!
Television.
This is perhaps one the most valuable resources for information. A growing
interest in Ufology and the abduction/ Contact phenomena, means there
are numerous talk shows, documentaries and many news stories featuring,
sightings, researchers, therapists and skeptics. It is useful to read
the television magazines, which advertises these programs beforehand to
see if there is anything relevant to Ufology phenomena.
Video
Videos are another valuable resource. Some cover the more tangible physical
evidence, government cover-ups, archaeological and religious evidence,
UFO sightings, and Contact experiences.
The
support group and my work has been featured on a documentary called “OZ
ENCOUNTERS, UFO's in Australia” It was a good overview of the phenomena,
including sightings by many credible and reliable witnesses, and the trauma
it can cause for some. The documentary shows photographic evidence of
UFO's, and the physical evidence, such as marks and scars. But, there
are many good quality videos on this phenomenon available. The UFO magazines
have numerous video’s on this topic. You can also try:
*
Video stores will have them under special interest section, ask the video
store manager if you can't find them.
* Large department stores.
The video of OZ Encounters, UFO's in Australia is being sold in many of
the larger stores throughout Australia
Internet.
This is a growing medium for a variety of information on Ufology, from
sightings to experiences. It is a valuable way to contact researchers
and to find emotional support, from therapists to experiencers. Many have
web addresses and email addresses.
Shopping for help......
New age shops and alternative book-stores have many books on these phenomena,
and may advertise talks and seminars about this subject
.
Lectures, workshops, and Conferences.
Look for posters, advertisements in shops, magazines and local papers.
Larger Ufology groups advertise International Conferences through the
internet.
It would be impossible to list all the organizations world wide that offer
information and support for those with Contact. But, if you resource any
of these organisations below they can offer you information or referrals
for you.
