My Family Lines
These pages details the lines that I am researching and provides links to some of the results of my researches so far. These lines originate in Ireland, England, (British) India, Scotland, Netherlands and Wales and so, like Australia itself, I am the product of an interesting mix of nationalities.
My original objective was to determine where each of my lines entered Australia, by what means, perhaps some idea of why they came and to identify as many of the descendants of my original Australian pioneers as possible. Through good luck, a bit of hard slog and eye strain and a lot of help from many people, I have achieved some of what I set out to do but have also identified 2 lines back to the 1600's and made contact with a number of previously unknown "cousins".
So in the hope that my research may help others and that I may also make contact with other researchers of mine or related lines, I have put together these pages which by necessity is only a summary of what I have and I have not yet had time to put data on all the lines onto this site.
