The Ceramic Study Group
of Western Australia
The Ceramic Study Group was formed in 1970 by students
from Perth Technical College who wished to continue interactive contact after
the completion of their courses.
The aims of the group are to maintain contact with and share ideas and research
with each other.
The function of the group has broadened over the years to the point that any
person that is interested in the study of clay and glazes and related subjects
may join.
The group also visits country groups for the mutual exchange of ideas and
research.
Most meetings have a guest speaker, with a slide show and talks from local,
interstate and overseas potters.
