This is what my initial purchase of supplies looked like. I got extra sheets of foam and glass for my top deck and additional width and length. NOTE:… 8 foot by 4 foot panels are a little larger than their metric equivalents, this becomes noticeable later when you start to make the panels up.

How not to make hard points. |
Oh the pain of grinding and sanding. Trouble was the filler was harder than the foam….. more filler on the foam now.!! |
|
Purchased a little table saw to cut the timber strips. NOTE:… pay a little more and get the type that tilts the blade, not the table. |
Just so happened to pick up a rule with 10ths of inches on it, very handy. Considering I work in metric most the time this was very nice to work with. |

H8b complete…. Almost. |
H8a complete…. Almost, just look at that bodgy filler job!! Second thoughts…. No don’t look. |

Pre cutting of the matt for the base panel. |
Do your self a favor and get a “pizza cutter” for the glass cutting. |
