These I consider a must for the beveling process.

1. Garden vacuum, 2. Cartridge style filter mask, 3. Ear muffs, 4. Safety glasses, 5. Protractor, 6. Electric power file or sanding disk. 7. Steel angle iron, 2 lengths.

Angle setting template, 0.05” and 0.1”, but mine went a bit larger to get the result.

One edge to the bottom angle iron, the other to the top angle iron, the result is the 6 or 12 degree.

The steel angle will last a bit longer with the powerfile  than aluminium.

H1 glassed into position.

45 degree bias cut glass cloth ready for use.

What a joint!!! 

Make sure the base panel and supporting worktop is laying absolutely flat.

Mine was not and it appeared I had an error in my bevels.

All was correct when the worktop was straightened out.

Method to support side panels.

Measure from top of beam above G clamp to check 10.5 height.

I made my inside panel joints flush, minimal filler required.

Outer join line was planed off, then filled and sanded smooth.
