Welcome to the dedication of two men who served from
Ceylon in RAF Bomber Command.
---------------------------------
Not much is known of the contribution that Ceylon gave during the great conflict known
as World War II. With this page, I hope to bring to light the contributions of two of the
men who served with the RAF from Ceylon.
With the help of two close friends, Simon Kularatne and Charles Ameresekere, I have
written about these two men to give a background to the dedication and spirit of the two
Ceylonese men who served in Bomber Command. I have finished the article on Ananda
Kularatne and the page about Rohan Amerasekera is up and running.

Ananda Kularatne, Pilot, 102 Squadron.
If anyone has anything to contribute I would be very grateful as I only want to publish
accurate information. Simon and Charles are currently involved with the Research section
of the Halifax Appreciation Society. Please visit the Research
Page to see if they can help you or you can help them.
The page dedicated to Rohan Amerasekera is operational and I have
finished the tribute page to Ananda Kularatne. Please visit
these pages to learn more about two of Ceylon's finest in World War II.
LEST WE FORGET.
The Research Page.
A Dedication to Rohan Amerasekera.
A Tribute to Ananda Kularatne.
