AIDAN'S DIARY - JUNE 1999

June 1999

We called upon my uncle Bob and aunt Mary in Brisbane, Queensland, for a change of scenery, trekking south to Surfer's Paradise, the Gold Coast and Lamington National Park and north to Buderim and Noosa on the Sunshine Coast. The little people had the most wonderful time, despite the most nasty viral infection we've ever encountered. Dad, representing the big people, was also knocked flat by said virus, while Mum dodged it.

Trish arrived a few days early to participate in a Taekwon-Do seminar with Master Charles Sereff, our former chief instructor from Denver, Colorado (USA). Aidan, Caitlin and I arrived in time to collect a virus and limp from site to site. Bar the bug, we enjoyed to outing to the north-east coast of Terra Australis.
