Aidan is spending the first two weeks "getting wet" with
some introductory swimming lessons. Between the "official" lessons and
performing "bombies" in the pool at home with Dad, he's becoming quite
the water rat.

Last day of chemo for Aidan. Woo-hoo.

Just to keep us on our toes, Aidan opted to collect an infection which
sent his temperature soaring. Trish took him to hospital Monday evening,
was discharged Tuesday evening (after Aidan's temperature dropped to a
normal level) and was home for, oh, let's say, 30 minutes, before turning
tail and returning with Aidan once again to hospital for a soaring temperature.
Lots of fun.
Not to say it was all bad.
Aidan was rather pleased that Monday evening because he lost his first
tooth. Very important when you're a little person. The Tooth Fairy fulfilled
her duty and deposited local currency under Aidan's pillow. In case you're
curious, he converted the coins into a bag of lollies. I would have done
no less. Aidan's doctor, David Baker, suspected that the infection was
due to a loose tooth. We'll pay that answer, not having a better one of
our own.
The young chap was carted home Saturday afternoon, rather tired from
his week long holiday.
Of course, come Sunday, he and Caitlin were fighing like brother and
sister. Situation normal.
Temperatures, teeth and fairies. Hmmmm. On those notes, I'll sign off.
