Up until June/July earlier this year, 2004, I never even knew Cold existed. It's a good thing, 'cause I actually appreciate their music even more now!

If anyone who's anyone, will know that there's a game coming out on PS2 called 'Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy'. To cut a long story short, I've been very interested in the game ever since watching the trailer for it with that cool song. I'm sure everyone know's what I'm talking about!

That song is called 'With My Mind' by a band called 'Cold'. Now, in australia (I think...), the band is unheard of, actually. This is a pity, 'cause a lot of Cold's effort in this release really show their true synergy.

This album in my opinion, is so much better and more refined since their previous album, '13 Ways To Bleed On Stage'.

The opening track 'Remedy' is like a wild rollercoaster ride that's inevitably coming. It's one of my fave songs, on this album and I believe that the first 4 tracks off 'Year Of The Spider' should be singles. Seriously! If they ARE singles, good for them! They're that good.

No words can describe the next flurry of songs that rock. 'Suffocate', 'Cure My Tragedy (A Letter To God)' and 'Stupid Girl' continue with their personal-style and flair.

One of my faves on this album has to be 'Don't Belong'. Actually, I love all the songs w/ the 'hot' symbol. They all rock and I highly suggest everyone listen to them. Right Now!

Halfway down the track, the songs become very mellow. If you're not a fan of mellow music, this album is really a gamble. But if you're not picky, you might not mind the 4 or so mellow songs after 'Don't Belong'! It's really up to preference.
