Notes: Laois is one of the counties in the middle of Ireland. I have written the tune out in the key of "D" which is the key I originally learned it in on the tin whistle. We recorded it on the pipes and for whistle players who want to play along with the recording - you will be able to do so if you use the same fingering on a Bb whistle. Anyone else will have to transpose it themselves!
