Welcome to the website of Queensland-based PT
Cruisers Downunder Inc. which evolved into a club from a
social group of Australia’s first PT owners in 2000 and
since its inception has grown and spread its wings, with
members in all Eastern States and links to clubs in South
Australia and Western Australia.
PTCDU Inc. is incorporated with
the Qld Dept of Fair Trading, protected by Public Liability
Insurance and run by a Committee elected from members, so
it’s a club run by members for members. The positions
include: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer,
Cruise Controller, Show Co-ordinator, Apparel & Merchandise
Officer, Fundraiser, Membership Officer and Magazine Editor.
PTCDU actively encourages member participation in all facets
of its activities, including becoming a Committee member.
Participation is the key to a great club and a good way to
get to know members, understand how the club operates and
most importantly have fun!

PTCDU's internet presence includes a Forum which is accessible
via this site from around
Australia and overseas by both PT owners and the public
(after registration). The Forum is the best way to stay up
to date with upcoming cruises, car shows and club
activities, as well as being an excellent way to keep in
touch between events. Also available are download links for
the monthly PTCDU Inc. magazine “Cruisin News”, information
pertaining to all things PT (and other Modern Chryslers and
Dodges), a chat room and the PT Cruisers Downunder Inc.
Constitution, Membership Forms and Flyers.

PTCDU Inc. is a family orientated club and
endeavours to run 2 events every month and all family
members and their guests are invited to attend. The
frequency and planning of cruises takes into account a
number of factors, including fuel costs, distances travelled
and at times the weather. Many members have added
accessories (“bling”) to their cars and like to show it off,
therefore the club also attends some car shows through the
year to cater for this enthusiasm. Other members are welcome
to attend these outings as it is still a great social day
and another way to support the club and those members who
enter their cars into the show for judging - in fact PTCDU
Inc. has a growing collection of club trophies due to the
number of members who turn up to fly the flag. Members are
under no obligation to show their car, this is an individual
decision, but PT’s whether modified or stock put on a
head-turning display in any venue.

PT Cruisers Downunder Inc. isn’t like many bigger car clubs,
it’s more like a family that enjoys getting together on a
regular basis and having fun times.
All members are encouraged to advise the Cruise Controller
of runs and events they would like to attend and also put
forward suggestions of any that they would be prepared to
organise and lead. Join the club, join in the fun and enjoy
yourself - you'll be glad you did!
Happy Cruisin'
