Our recent visit to the Yarra Valley was one of our most enjoyable holidays of our time. We can't thank you enough for sending us first to Kangaroo Ridge Retreat as there was everything there we needed for complete relaxation and then when we decided to stay on in the area, sending us to Bensons B&B.
Bensons B&B was so tastefully decorated and well designed for complete comfort. The suite was large enough to move around in for breakfasts and what not but cozy and intimate enough for indulging in that lazy relaxing time that we were looking for. The four poster bed was exciting and so ideal for this also. The shower is an experience on its own as is the two person spa. The whole bathroom was filled with quality fittings and very extravagant, which all contributes towards a fantastic experience. The little touches around the suite like fresh flowers, chocolates & all the bathroom accessories that you could want leaves you with a feeling of contentment. The highlight of our time spent at Bensons B&B were the Bensons themselves. Our hosts were accommodating in every possible way and went way beyond any expectations that we had. Their contribution to our holiday was far more than a smile and general courtesy. They gave up their own comfort for the sake of giving us the privacy and the freedom to explore their property. Bernie & Jim certainly know how to make people feel welcome and comfortable. We have recommended so many people already to their establishment and feel very confident in doing so as we know the Bensons would look after everyone that visited them.
