PLANS FOR THE FUTURE?A trackball would be nice, especially for Missile Command and Marble Madness, so I may make another control panel with one on it. I doubt there's any way it'd fit comfortably on the current one with the joystick. UPDATE: Adrian's giving me a trackball to try out, so this may happen.. A CPU and motherboard upgrade wouldn't hurt either, next in line is a K6-233 and TX motherboard, but as this is currently in use as a 2nd machine and print server, it'll have to wait until I get that new (insert dumb CPU name here) XXX GHz machine. While constructing the cabinet I also happened to test fit a (sadly broken) 17" monitor and it will fit in with minimal modification, so if a cheap one comes along I might just grab it. Also I'm not sure how long it'll be before that huge 250Mb hard drive is full, and I'll have to pull out that stonking great 400Mb unit from the back room... OK OK, I'll shut up now and go play the thing a bit first. I'm also gradually working on Adrian to get him to start his machine soon. Plus, a baby upright cabinet for my two young nephews would be pretty neat. It'd be based around a surplus 486 or 586 with 14" monitor and running the Vantage arcade emulator. My brother still needs some convincing over that one though..
