The V11 Coppa Italia is a clear statement of Guzzi’s determination to play a major role in moulding the future and to regain the position of leadership and prestige that is Guzzi’s birthright.
The family resemblance of the V11 Coppa Italia is obvious. The V11 Coppa Italia is proud to belong to the V11 family of sports bikes par excellence from Mandello del Lario. Its lines are classical, compact and muscular. The 90° V -Twin stands proud and the classical tank shape and unfaired finish reveal every detail of a rock-solid traditional chassis that nevertheless incorporates advanced features like powerful 320 mm floating front discs.
The V11 Coppa Italia’s visual impact is backed up by amazing performance. The 1,064 cc engine is just as reliable as ever, but a balancer pipe between the two exhaust collectors ensures improved breathing and gives more power at the sort of medium engine speeds that are most frequently used on the road. Guzzi’s legendary low rev muscle is still there too, thanks to a compression ratio of 9.8:1.
The chassis inspires immediate confidence, with its beautifully rigid single spar steel frame and fully adjustable suspensions in the form of a robust 45 mm fork, single sided swingarm and monoshock and even a steering damper, all from Öhlins. This top of the range system provides all the adjustments you could possible need to set up your suspension just as you want it.
If you want to see what the V11 Coppa Italia can do on the race track, Moto Guzzi can provide an exclusive "Titanium Racing Exhaust Kit” with two titanium silencers, a dedicated ECU and modified footrest brackets. The kit weighs about 50% less than the original parts to make the most of the increased power that the ECU makes available throughout the engine's speed range.
