Rockingham Competition, Rockingham, 11th of December 2005

4 members of Judo Ryu WA attended this event. Owen Roberts got first price, we also scored one 2nd price. For the others, the event proofed to be too strong. Well done to all.

Kano Competition, Heathridge, 19th of November 2005

10 members of Judo Ryu WA attended the Kano Year-end Wind-up Competition in Heathridge on the 19th of November 2005. The results were as follows:

Gold medalists:

  • Mitchell Norman

Silver Medalists:

  • Patrick Tichelaar

  • Eddie Watkins

Bronze Medalists:

In addition M. (Name not disclosed due to privacy restrictions) was awarded the Judo Ryu WA Sportsperson of the year 2005 award.

Kano Open Judo Championships, 13th of August 2005

12 members of Judo Ryu WA attended the Kano Open Judo Championship in Heathridge on the 13th of August 2005. The results were as follows:

Boys under 21 kg
   Owen Roberts-Mok, 2nd place, silver medal

Boys under 25 kg
   Dylan Watson, 2nd place, silver medal

Boys under 27 kg
   Mitchell Norman, 1st place, gold medal
   Cameron McTear, 3rd place, bronze medal
   Patrick Tichelaar, 4th place (No medal)

Boys under 35 kg
    Matthew Grose, 1st place, gold medal
   Conner Potts, 2nd place, silver medal
   Fraser McTear, 3rd place, bronze medal

Girls, under 30 kg
   Belinda Tichelaar, 3rd place, bronze medal

The following members just missed out on a medal:
   Ruby McKeown
   Brigid Roberts-Mok
