16th - Imperishable Night Page

Imperishable Night is one of the best shoot-em-up's I've ever played on the PC. It simply rocks. I've played if for 2 months now and I'm still enjoying it. It's a Japanese game with Japanese instructions for installation and in game menu system. For those who can't read Japanese, these are only a small hurdle to get over before being treating to shoot-em-up heaven. It takes a bit of time to understand the game mechanics and the secret to getting really high scores, but it's all worth it.

If you like high difficulty, 2D vertical shooting games with complex bullet patterns, then you will enjoy Imperishable Night and the two previous installments: Perfect Cherry Blossom and The Enbodiment Of Scarlet Devil.

There are several Japanese sites devoted to the game. A good english forum that will help you understand all facets of these games is Shrine Maiden.

A trial version of the game that can be downloaded that contains the first 3 levels of the game - Imperishable Night Demo. I believe a patch is available for the game as well. Also linked is where to purchase the full game.

My Imperishable Night Page contains my replays for the game - you will need the full version of the game to play them back - Tim's Imperishable Night Page.

I've archived the Tomb Raider Page and zipped the text version of the Cunningham numbers to preserve disk space on the site.
