MAME 0.106u8 has been released over at MAMEDev. Wow! The Dev's are really coding up a storm. The "mame.exe -listxml" option can now take a wildcard gamename argument, the palette/graphics/tilemap viewer has been reimplemented and built-in layouts (*.lay) are now compiled into *.ly files. Don't be shocked by the new target file2str.exe, it's used for the *.lay to *.ly conversion. See the whatsnew.txt for details.
