What's it all about?

You will have to excuse the basic nature of this web page as I've just quickly thrown it together to get something up on the web and will make it pretty at a later date.....maybe.....

I plan over the next few months to build the Lady Anne gas fired steam loco from Roundhouse.
I would thoroughly recommend a look at their site as they have some lovely engines for sale.

So far I have only bought the chassis and probably will not be buying the boiler until closer to Christmas so I'm in no rush to put the chassis together and so will hopefully give it the attention to detail it deserves.

I've never built anything like this before but after reading the articles written by someone who had just built the Lady Anne in 'Model Engineer' a UK magazine I was inspired to 'give it a go'.

I have moderate skills at woodworking and sometimes dabble in Silver smithing and very rarely Gold smithing so I believe this should be within my ability.

Well enough of my ramblings clink on the links on the left to have a look at what has happened so far
