An Operational Overview
Wallis Drilling prides itself on its versatility and adaptability. It has the capacity and technology to build special purpose drill rigs and drilling systems for individual contract conditions. Drill rigs have been built for lake swamp drilling, dam site drilling and foundation drilling. To date, approximately 25 drill rigs have been in house for the company’s own use. A continuing commitment to research and development ensures that Wallis Drilling remains in the forefront in the industry.

A fully equipped full-time Research and Development unit has
been established. The Wallis designed and world patented ‘Air Core’ Drilling
system is acknowledged as the leading reverse circulation drilling method in the
industry and has been used by the company to drill excess of four million metres
of samples.
