Injidup Point
Do you like big dunes? Do you like to see fertile vegetation outcrops in a sea of desert, surrounded by the pearly Indian Ocean? This beach will not disapoint you.

Hamelin Bay
This historical natural harbour has an beautiful, old burnt out pier extending from its southern end, that was used at the turn of the century by logging companies. The waters are generally calm, and it is especially popular amongst families with young children. Feed the stingrays that seem to live near the boat ramp. There is also a fantastic caravan park with a small general store that can provide you with snacks and all the fishing essentials.

Redgate Beach
Even during the height of summer this fantastic beach has a small brook that feeds into the ocean. Tyson and I have thoroughly enjoyed daming it up last year. EJ and Sal then relaxed in the warm sweet waters overlooking the sea. Beautiful!

Smiths Beach
They don't get better than this. This beach is popular with the surfers, and is great for small kids. Another river flows out to sea at Smiths beach, which makes it perfect for sandcastle building. The depth of the water undulates for quite a while before it gets deep, but beware of the currents.

  Conto's Beach
I could have put in a picture of awesome surfing. I could have put in a picture of a wide endless beach, and I could have put in a picture of the limestone cliffs and caves overlooking the ocean... but I didn't. Autumn 2002 some friends and I went down to Conto's and found an underground spring bubbling up onto the shoreline. Jason fell in, up to his armpits, and got stuck. Oh, how we laughed. Try burying a rock about 1m below the surface, and watch it pop up after 30 seconds. Now THAT's entertainment.

Gracetown
This lovely beach is with Meelup, the best for kids, yet a little more secluded. There is a small cafe close by, and there are some lovely walks along the rocks heading Sorth. Here's me, Judith and 'One-Cubitt-by-Two-Cubitts' heading towards Big Rock.

Meelup Beach
This beach is one of the few North facing beaches on the West Coast. It is therefore sheltered from the wind, and enjoys calm tranquil waters, ideal for kids. Here's Geoff-o the 'blessed cheesemaker' from Toronto playing frisbee. There are toilet facilities and good parking. A couple miles down the road have lunch at WISE Winery. Great views, great food, great wine!

Prevelly
Here is my gorgeous sister at Prevelly beach. The surf here can get REALLY feisty, and is very popular with boogy boarders and surfers heading South over the point.

Big Rock
Alan Barton and I had a 'who can take the best picture competition', which, despite having a far inferior camera, I won. Here's a picture of 'Big Al' on Big Rock. Of course I had to help him up as he has weak ankles.

Margaret River Beach
This beach is also extremely popular, being so close to Main Break and the river. During the winter months the river flows strongly into the Ocean, but during the summer, a large sandbank seperates the two. The river is great to swim in all year round. The Bushtucker Canoeing Tour leaves from here. There are toilet facilities at the car park.
