Accommodation overlooking Margaret River

This fisheye view shows the small 200m path leading down from Arum Retreat (right) to Margaret Rivers' riverbanks (left).

Walking north along the riverbank, you come across the beautiful Margaret River Falls.

Here's Sally walking along the Arum Lilies on the riverbank next to Arum Retreat.

Sally and her folks admire the Margaret River Falls on a beautiful spring morning.

The Arum Lilies are found all along the banks of the river. It is said that Ellen Bussle of the old Ellensbrook Homestead had them shipped over from England for her English country garden.

The river runs very wide at the foot of Arum Retreat. The north side is a National Park and makes this area a sanctuary for birds and wildlife.
