GREATEST HITS TOUR 2003

On April 5th, 2003, Inspirals celebrated the finale of their successful 'Greatest Hits' Tour
with a blazing performance at Manchester Academy. Thanks to Martyn & Joanne Walsh,
who invited me over for the concert (thanks again, guys !), I was able to realize a dream I
had had for a long time - getting to know the band and attending one of their legendary gigs.
Having arrived from Germany in the morning, I met up with Martyn to watch ManU thrash
Liverpool; afterwards I was allowed to go on stage and take photos during the sound check.
The concert later that night was absolutely brilliant. To top a great day off, we all went to the
aftershow party at the Late Room on Peter Street, where Joanne took some pretty funny
pictures of me and the lads (by the way, they were all absolutely welcoming and likeable -
no rock star antics to be found. Top musicians, top chaps !). Here are some of the photos
