Pam studied art, painting
and photography in England and taught in high schools before migrating
to Australia. She has over thirty years experience in art and craft
practices. She has been compiling and facilitating workshops and
courses in Art & Craft Centres for the last ten years. Pam’s
textile art combines fabric with paint, paper, metal and clay with
thread and free machine stitching.
Pam has an open attitude
to her work; she is not restrained by traditional attitudes or practices.
She enjoys experimenting with and exploring the ‘what ifs’
to push frontiers.
“I enjoying teaching
and sharing my ideas and techniques with enthusiastic people. It
gives me pleasure to see someone create a piece of work, interpreting
an idea and following it through.”
