My love of textiles and all forms of embroidery has been with me since my childhood in England. I have always been torn between pursuing my profession as a veterinary anaesthetist and working with fabric. Coming to live in Albany 13 years ago allowed me the oportunity to study art and design and to devote more time to embroidery.
For many years I have been delving into the fascinatiing art of machine embroidery. This medium allows the build up of layers of rich texture or the formation of gossamer-like lace.
