Art classes

You can enjoy art tuition in small groups in a private studio. Beginners and advanced are both welcome. All classes are based on original post graduate research.

Drawing 1 for Beginners	Drawing 2	Painting	Children's Art Classes
Even if you haven’t drawn since school days, you can learn!	For intermediate and advanced students.	You can paint in water colours, gouache, acrylics or pastels! This is a broad programme including colour theory, design and painting techniques. Students must be competent at drawing.	For ages 7–17. Drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, textile crafts. Email art lessons – for home-schooled students or those too far away to attend a class. These courses are individually structured and take into account your child's interests and hobbies.

Life Drawing

This is not a lesson and is provided for advanced drawing students and artists only. Sessions are scheduled when there are 8 students or artists to share the cost of the model.

Workshops for art associations.

I conduct 1 or 2 day workshops for art groups.

Some suggested workshops:

• Still life in pastel (or charcoal or water colour or gouache).
• Drawing the portrait in pastel (or charcoal or water colour or gouache).
• Tempera Indian ink batik - working from the imagination.
• Developing the imagination using metaphors.
• The posed model - short or long poses, any medium.
• Colour workshop.
• Composition in still life or landscape.
