Born on the banks of the Murray River at a bush nursing post near the Barmah Forest. Raised in country Victoria and educated at Geelong College and the Gordan Institute of Technology (Civil Engineering). Interests have always been bushwalking, exploring and outdoor activities.

A very early backpacker to New Zealand (by ship - Monowai there and Wanganella back) and have since travelled extensively for both work and pleasure. In my line of work I always looked for interesting places both outback and overseas.
