The founding company Water, Rail & Power Engineering was established in 1959. Waterex Pty Ltd was formed in 1978, the Australian company opening in 1991.

The technical capability of the company is derived from the in house chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, geological, chemical and water engineering expertise. This capability is supported by continuous investment in R & D, which investment enables the company to develop leading edge technologies in its areas of expertise.

This approach translates into innovative, yet proven, engineering in solids/liquid separation, treatment and cooling water/liquid products.
