Deionisation, Electro Deionisation & Ion Exchange Equipment

Separate Bed Ion Exchange Plant with Resin Inspection Windows & Monitored Flow Controls via PLC Operation.

  • Dealkalizers, softeners, separate bed deioniser and mixed bed deioniser manufactured to order
  • Operator interface panels (OIP's) with P&ID, alarm and process indications fitted as standard.
  • Conductivity monitors fitted to separate bed and standard ion exchange units calibrated in microsiemens/cm.
  • Resistivity monitors fitted to mixed bed standard unit also interlocked with OIP.
  • Automatic valve actuation is typically realised with air actuated valves piloted solenoid valves fitted with LED indicators.
  • Critical valves fitted with open closed feedback loops to ensure proper operation of important plant.
  • Package supplied with, but not limited to, ladder logic, sequence logic flow chart and I/O listing for troubleshooing and easy plant maintenance.
  • Vessels supplied in a variety of materials to suit the process liquor or water application.
  • Specailised deionised trains selected or enhanced to suit specific process demands. eg Nitrate removal from process liquors.
  • Materials of construction of valves, pipework, vessels and instruments tailored to the application.
5m3/hr Package Electrodeionisation Unit
Electro Deionisation - EDI
  • No hazardous chemicals required for high quality or ultra pure water.
  • Package units available for up to 10 m3/hr as standard.
  • Ion exchange resins for separate or mixed bed applications.
  • Single cell electrodeioniser (EDI) for up to 2.3m3/hr deionised water product.
  • Multi cell systems can be arrayed to generate over 150m3/hr.
  • EDI systems can produce water up to 80 Megohm-cm.
  • Simple designed with no concentrate recirculation required.
  • Compact lightweight designs.
  • No hazardous waste (and associated cost or risk).
  • Simple system with no concentrate recirculation or brine injection.
  • Modular system making it easier to expand as demand rises.
  • Modular system provides ongoing capacity (even when one unit goes down for whatever reason).
  • No stack leaks.
  • Safer-lower voltage.
  • Smaller installed footprint.
  • Easy to array on skids.
  • Consistant and predictable results
