Tasting notes |
Very gassy and frothy, very young flavour, fruity. Needs much longer to brew through in the bottle. August – still very frothy, one longneck fills a jug and a glass, end up with about half the amount of beer. Can be explosive to open, watch out for the ceiling. Light, OK flavour but still a bit like soluble paracetamol. 18 October – Paul opened one which blew the lid and contents into the ceiling. Dangerous brew, open only under towel over sink, and store in shed. 5 Nov – about 6 months old. Still highly overgassed. Once you get it into a glass, a dry aroma, light dry flavour with some malt up front and a very minor dry hop flavour at the end. Sort of like Corona, but also a slightly sour flavour, maybe more like Tooheys extra dry without the fruit overtones. Good carbonation and head retention, very clear. |
