Principal's Welcome

Wembley Primary School was established in 1936 and, as a school with a long history, we acknowledge our tradition and this is balanced with a sense of moving forward, embracing innovation and current educational thinking.

Our school vision is to develop the cognitive abilities of students so they maximize their educational opportunities, develop social, physical and creative abilities and skills in order that they make responsible choices for future experience and opportunities.

Our school motto is Building Our Future and we achieve this through Community, Excellence and Opportunity. The school provides many opportunities for our students to enjoy learning, develop socially, physically, academically and emotionally to reach their potential. Our highly qualified enthusiastic staff, along with a very supportive community, work harmoniously to strive for excellence in all facets of school life.

At Wembley Primary School we underpin all our programs and activities both formal and informal within a set of shared core values. We believe that, as a school, we have a responsibility to teach and learn alongside our students within a moral and ethical framework. This is desirable and essential  so that they develop attributes to assist them to become successful contributors to the community.

Wembley Primary School strives to develop in each student a positive self concept, to be respectful and confident to take on life’s challenges. We believe that all our students will be successful lifelong learners.
