Sailing

All students in Year 7 are provided with opportunities to test their initiative, endurance and leadership skills through sailing. This program is provided by fully accredited sailing coaches who use specialised equipment at a local yacht club. It supports students to take up the challenge of sailing in a safe river environment. The sailing program runs over a six week period during the summer months on the Swan River. Students learn about navigation, weather, water safety, sailing knots and boat handling.
