Westfield Park Primary School

Years 5, 6 and 7

Computer Club

In 2000 the Years 6 and 7 students of Westfield Park Primary School
- with the help of some staff members, formed a lunchtime Computer Club.
In 2001 the Year 5 students have joined the Computer Club. A student from
year one joined us in 2003 - he is very clever.
The club members meet in the Computer Room during lunchtime on Thursdays and
Fridays each week.
Their aims are:
  • to learn more about computers, the internet, applications
  • to earn certificates for competency in the use of things like scanners, CD burners, digital cameras, video cameras, photo editing, web page building, basic computer maintenance and general troubleshooting.
  • to complete assignments
  • to do research
  • to help others
  • to have fun
  • As the students learn more they will be adding to this page and also adding their own pages.
Please return again soon to find out what they have been doing.

    Wetlands

The Computer Club has decided to make a month by month description of happenings
    at the Wetlands.
Check out what we have seen since August, 2000 by going to Month by Month at the Wetlands.
Each month club members will take photos of the wetlands and the wildlife they
find there to add to this page. We have also made a page of all the birds we have found over the past year and we will be adding any new birds we see.  Have a look at Wildlife of our Wetlands.   Check the water levels at the wetlands here .
