At
Westfield Park Primary School we have been teaching French for the past
six years. It was first introduced by Mrs Claude Fidock to one class
of Year 5 students in 1994 and has progressed to the years Three to Seven
as required by the Western Australian Education Department L.O.T.E.
2000 Policy.
Most students in the upper
grades have completed at least three years of French and are mostly working
at Level Two in Viewing, Reading and Responding and the Writing strands.
They are also approaching Level Two in Listening, Speaking and Responding.
